Officer’s Report

A: Valentine’s Day Roses- Roses went well, all sold quickly. Revenue was $1,111, expenses were   $347.99, with a profit of $763.01. Next year, for whoever wants to participate, we will hold a     contest for the ad in the Trinity Journal. This year’s ad was reported to be too dark. Bring          in a black and white photo of your choice and we will vote for next year’s Valentine’s day rose        ad photo! B.Gaulke will bring in   a photo for this year’s Mother’s day rose ad for the Trinity      Journal.

Action Items

A: Children’s Festival- It has been decided that we will not be doing a coloring booth. We will         however try to get the fire safe house and snow cone machine out there. S. Brown will find out                if we are able to bring the fire safe house.

B: Mother’s Day Roses- May 14th. We still have 2 meetings until Mother’s day, we are going to               continue to order the roses from Costco. Also need to look back to see how many we sold last             year.

C: Father’s Day Spaghetti Feed: K.Boorman will look to see if there are any other community          activities that are celebrating Father’s Day on Saturday, June 17th. If we move on with planning      the feed, we have all agreed on ages 12 and under are $5 a plate, 13 and older are $7 a plate.    Plates will be served cafeteria style for quantity control. Plates will include spaghetti, garlic                bread, green salad, and beverage. Do we want to bake simple single serve desserts (cookies, brownies, rice crispy treats, cupcakes…)?

D: 4th of July Parade and Open House- We have discussed using 2161 in the parade for the SS    members to advertise both what we do as SS members, and for the Open House meal. We have              voted that we will be selling hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, cookie, beverage. $6 a plate or $20 for 4 plates. Plates will include a choice of hot dog or hamburger, chips, cookie, and beverage.

Committee Reports

A: EMS-AEDs need battery checks ASAP. Some will learn tonight and will teach others who do not know how on another day. L.Guglielmina has volunteered to show whoever does not know     how to check AEDs to properly check them at the April meeting.

B: Station Maintenance: No new news J leaves are still in garden area due to low temperatures.

C: Equipment Maintenance: Everything is going well. Some parts were ordered.

D: Web Technology: Website looks great, Facebook is looking good.

E:  Marketing- Flyers for Mother’s day need to be handed out.
